Shanghai Sugar-making Food Association
Shanghai Sugar-making Food Association was founded in June 1988 (formerly known as Shanghai Sugar-making Food Industry Professional Association). It is a multi-ministerial voluntary organization of enterprises engaged in sugar, candy, chocolate, pastries, biscuits, frozen drinks, leisure food, stuffing production and management, scientific research institutes, colleges and universities in Shanghai. Non-profit professional social organization legal person with cross-ownership. In 2013, the association was ranked 4A by Shanghai Social Organizations Administration. It has 106 members. It covers 90% of the major Chinese and Western pastries and leading sugar enterprises in Shanghai market, including 15 old Chinese enterprises in baking and sugar food in Shanghai. The market share of baked sugar products produced by member enterprises in Shanghai is 70%, that of moon cakes is 87%, and that of sugar is 85%.
